A long, long time ago, I knew how to write stories that were, oh, about 3,000 words long. That time has passed. This summer, when I was filled with Star Trek nostalgia, I saw a lovely McCoy/Uhura prompt at rarepair fest and thought I would write a small treat. 9,000 words and four months later, here we are... I'm a little frustrated that it took me so long, but I'm excited that I finally got to do justice to my favorite Star Trek rare pair.
